What you can learn from Donald Trump about studying - and what is not

meho

I'm not a Trump fan - and I probably will not.

After I found his candidacy amusing, the election Trumps to the President of America - well, yes - surprised me. The entire process looked completely unrealistic and curious to me. I thought, "If someone like Donald Trump manages to become president, then everyone can do everything. Let's see what he does. "

But now I am just annoyed and wonder almost every day, why the Americans allow this show.

So that we do not misunderstand: I reject the predominant part of Republican politics. I like sustainability, for example, and find protectionism not so good. In addition, I find Trumps rhetoric terrible and utterly inappropriate for his position. And so I belong to the majority of the population in Germany. In a Forsa survey I recently read that 84 percent of Germans reject a President Donald Trump. In America, it is, today (14.08.2017), about 60 percent.

Still - and I recognize this - Trump did it. He carries out the most powerful political office on this planet and holds his position (despite crises and bad popularity). That is why I thought that it makes little sense to continue to be annoyed and to be influenced by negative moods.

I'm doing something different now: I look at what Trumpiboy does well. I'm trying to figure out why he's so successful and how he manages to achieve his goals. Of course he does not succeed in everything (that's a good thing!), But his success rate in life does not seem to be too bad. In addition, I observe in which areas he really builds dung and which character traits excite me most - and that is exactly what I try to take into account in my behavior.

If you want to try that too, I now have six approaches for you.

These 6 things you can learn from Donald Trump about studying

Whether you like him or not: From Trump, you can learn a lot - how you are successful and how you run unbraked against the wall. Here are six things you can apply for your studies:

1. Do not be put off by a crisis!

There is almost no day when Donald Trump is not haunted by the news and newspapers of the world. Not because he has solved the hunger problem in Africa or found an idea for the Middle East conflict, but because he makes nonsense. Trump slides from crisis to crisis. At the moment, North Korea and Charlotteville's terrorist plot are on top of his fat list. I would list here all crises and problems of the past months - I would not be finished tomorrow.

I am not interested in showing how awkward the President is. It is rather a matter of showing how immune it seems to be against these crisis situations. Nothing can touch Donald Trump. It is almost irrelevant how inappropriate his statements are or how imprudent his decisions are: he shakes himself briefly, twitters and goes on. He does not return frequently to the right path, but: He goes on. Trump can not be put down. And you must not do that either.

Do it like Trump:

Do not let a crisis bring you to your knees! If something does not go according to plan or you have made a mistake: Do not give up, go on!

Do not like Trump:

Learn from your mistakes and do not continue as if nothing had happened! Keep going, but learn from the past!

2. Focus on your strengths!

Everyone has strengths - everyone has weaknesses. But in some people, their own weaknesses act like a brand. They focus so much on what they can not do so well that they lose all self-confidence and go through life with fear. The sad thing here is that the higher the level of education, the more strongly this self-doubt is pronounced. This is why especially a lot of students fall by the fact that they do not trust themselves enough and remain constant among their possibilities. By this I do not mean the five comedic commissaries who are throwing money with Papa's money, but the other 95 who sit and study at the desk quietly and quietly at home.

Trump belongs to the first group. Trump is someone who puts his own strengths at the forefront of his own strength and fades his weak points rigorously. He does not care what he can not do well. He wants to show himself (and above all others) what he is good at and what a great guy he can be. He focuses on the advantages - not on the disadvantages. And you should do that too.

Do it like Trump:

Be optimistic and concentrate on your strengths! Go for new challenges with a positive attitude and trust yourself more! ("If someone like Donald Trump manages to become president, then everyone can really do anything ...")

Do not like Trump:

Do not cover your weaknesses completely! Do not be ignorant or arrogant, but try to work constructively on you! Continue developing - but from a positive attitude!

3. Disconnect yourself from people who harm you!

Do you remember what Trump did when his commander, Scaramucci, made a disparaging statement about a public and inner-party eclat? Right, he has dismissed him. The same fate is shared by his ex-press spokesman Spencer, ex-staff chief Priebus, ex-FBI boss Comey and a few other "loyal" followers, whom I spoil for reasons of space.

If people hurt him (or at least if he feels), Trump will go through. This may be partly arbitrary and calculating, but in the matter you can look at something: Do not hold on to people who pull you down! Many students are used by fellow students and (learning) partners. They realize too late that these people are poisonous for them, and they suck up a lot of energy. If you realize that you do not like people from your environment, then

Do it like Trump:

Separate yourself from people who harm you! Do not stick too long out of misunderstood loyalty or blind fidelity to poisonous people! Get rid of, let go and find an environment where you can grow!

Do not like Trump:

Do not let your friends fall, just because they have no use for you! Do not be a calculating man of power, who makes his relations play for himself!

4. Do not hang on to the past!

Welcome to a new episode of Captain "What-interest-me-my-chatter-of-yesterday". In the lead role: Donald J. Trump (played by Alec Baldwin). Movie. Although Trump with his Republican Party stands for a conservative policy and is more oriented towards traditional values, this consciousness of the past does not agree with his own attitude. Trump is not particularly interested in what he once said - at least not when a different opinion plays in the cards. He does not care about the words or defeats of yesterday; He looks forward.

Many students, however, depend too much on the past. They stick to obsolete plans and stick to their own expectations and promises, even though the framework conditions have long since changed. These students are inflexible. They do not move and thus block themselves. They address this principle, which is what they really mean: fear of change. Do not be afraid.

Do it like Trump:

Do not hang too much on the past and look constructively into the future! Do not be restrained by old mistakes or false promises, but correct your course!

Do not like Trump:

Get rid of the past, but do not forget it! If you are dissatisfied with your choices: Stand by and try to correct them transparently and honestly!

5. Do not try to do it all right!

If you can not accuse Donald Trump of anything, then he tries to make it all right. The impression is rather that he tries the exact opposite: to push as many people as possible before the head. He is not a man who is looking for a uniform opinion; He polarizes. Almost always something too much, but it leaves a dominant impression. And that saved him the election victory in the USA.

Trump is not a conformist: he is unadjusted and thus sticks out of the crowd. And in a world where the differences are getting smaller, it is important to stick out - but in the right place and in appropriate dosage. It is important that you show character and have a strong personality. This secures you a great social life, promotes great interpersonal relationships and is also high on the course at Personalchefs.

Do it like Trump:

Stop trying to make it all right! Exaggerated conformism does not take you further; It makes you disappear in the gray mass - show character!

Do not like Trump:

Never bump your fellow men out of their heads for fun! It's okay if you're unadjusted, but if your polarizing becomes self-help, you're nothing but an unbelievable bitch! And no one likes unbelievable bitches.

6. Enjoy your holidays!

What is Trump doing when he is not on the golf course? He governs the United States of America. Really Brüller - I know. But there's something true about this: Donald Trump takes an incredible amount of time off. Either he spends the weekends with his family in the Feriendomizil, plays golf gently or jumps to old friends. American newspapers regularly publish new statistics on how many days the President is on holiday - and what it costs.

But besides this holiday debate, many forget: the man is 71 years old and has one of the most stressful professions one can ever imagine. If you want to keep an overview of the daily business, you need one thing: sufficient recovery and a clear head. And many students neglect just that. They learn the whole day, lecture from lecture to lecture and earn themselves some money besides. They are continually exhausting themselves over weeks and months - and are thus driving themselves to complete exhaustion. The next time before the election "Burnout or exmatriculation", I have a suggestion for you: leave.

Do it like Trump:

Take a little more time and have some rest! Your studies are stressful and require you a lot; It does not matter if you work constantly and do not come from the spot. Every now and then you have to refuel - do not forget!

Do not like Trump:

It is important that you also regularly schedule your holiday as a student - but make sure that your breaks do not take over and spill over! Plan your vacation and treat yourself only to what you can learn and finance financially!
